So what about an auto meter plugged into the OBDII port? Auto meter has a boost reading, just not sure if something else needs to be in place for it to show boost.

Far from an expert on this, but i think it would have to be wired (or spliced) directly to the sensor as the gauge would have no way of sorting through all the info coming from the OBDll port

Unless the gauge itself can sort the info and pick out the boost signal to display you...

That is sweet. I have and old Dashawk II. Boost is one of the parameters. I'll hook it up and see how she goes.

Here ya go. I plugged it in and my stabilitrac light came on. Lol Boost at idle said -18hg. Have no idea about that. I got some learning to do.

Yeah, they don't make them anymore that I know of. They are very cool as they show tons of parameters. I have set to show me six at a time.

Please tell me you know that your engine draws vacuum at idle, and doesn't make boost, right? You don't make boost until load is placed on the engine. That number being displayed is how much vacuum your engine is pulling.

I think a lot of people would be well served to read wikipedia about how turbos work.

After hitting 140 this am, and leaving the Lexus behind, I find that this car is maby more powerfull than my 74 LT Camaro. Top speed I got out of the 74 was 122.

Looking at the specs of 74 Camaro's, the I4 turbo would indeed had it it's booty.
