Have you returned to the stock tune yet to see if it goes away?

I want to avoid a catch can for two reasons, one is I understand it will instantly void the warrantee and second is there is no mod for the bracket to fit on vert (tower brace is in the way).

I know, a lot of questions...


I haven't been able to get any WoT logs yet. It has been cold and icy up here. When it dries up, I will be all over it and report back. If there are any particular PIDS you guys want me to log, just let me know.

Yep, DS has said this for a long time. I have a Trinity for my Challenger and can use it on the Camaro as well, but have been holding off. Chevy promotes taking cars to the track and that they'll cover track breakage under warranty etc, which is very cool, but then seems to look for any reason to void an owner's warranty as well. Kinda contradicting IMO.

I did know someone who had their warranty on their Challenger voided when the dealer found rubber in the wheel wells. They claimed "abuse" and flagged the car's VIN. He fought it and lost. Funny considering Dodge had the Challenger doing 50 foot burnouts in the sales brochures.

Anything I break I'll fix and I honestly don't like taking my car to the dealer EVER. But if there were some major issue related to a manufacture defect, etc, I'd be highly upset of the dealer wouldn't cover the repair.

As for the catch can, put one on. If you have to go to the dealer, remove it. Takes less than 30 minutes.

Curious how you guys make out with the DS stuff on the Camaro.

Just finished logging a short WoT run. Seeing more KR on stock vs the canned Diablo Sport tune. I wonder where the knock is coming from.....

Is the DS dummy proof lol. I know crap about tuning doesn't it come pre tuned and you just plug it in?

It does come with canned tunes but you can also do email tunes with some of the vendors. I know that RDP (dynosteve) will work with you to get a custom tune (free/included with the purchase of the device) for your car based on the mods you have if you purchase it through them. I am sure that other vendors will do the same, I purchased through RDP and am running a custom tune from them and love it.

From my understanding they do, just email them when you get a new mod and they will get you a new tune.

I went with 20x10/20x11 with 285/35 fronts and 305/35 rears, BFG Comp 2 AS, been really happy with them.
