The in tank pump for the 2.0 is the same as the 3.6, but the 6.2 is different. How I don't know, but I would bet that the LT4 pump for the new ZL1 would be worth doing if at some point the 2.0 guys start running out of fuel... As for the high pressure fuel pump... A lot of GM parts are interchangeable these days, they just don't want you to know it... The 2.0 HPFP is shared with the 2.5 NA engine. But the LGX v6 HPFP is also used on the supercharged Z06 corvette, along with 4.3 v6 engines, 5.3, 6.2 in the silverado and many more. I can't seem to find the 6.2 Camaro HPFP listed... But if the LGX pump is good enough for the Z06, that's pretty surprising they would use the same pumps. If I ever get to a point to where I need more fuel, I'd buy an LGX HPFP and see if it bolts on... It wouldn't surprise me if it does... But if it doesn't, I'll make it. |

just not gonna continue with this pointless arguing Tommy. To restate my original post I said using an SS Fuel Pump "Might" work I never said anything about a HPFP and though I am not a mechanical expert I do know that starving an upgraded HPFP is a catastrophe waiting to happen if the stock fuel tank pump cannot get enough fuel to it you can and will cause damage to an engine eventually. I was strictly going from my experience with the 3.6 LLT Engine in the Camaros where people were upgrading fuel pumps in the tank before messing with anything else for that reason. Our cars do run naturally very rich out of the gate so we may only need to upgrade the HPFP but at those higher numbers and without a guinea pig car to see yet nobody knows because saying the 2.0 Camaro is the same as the 2.0 ATS is dumb just like when they said the same thing about the 3.6 LLT that was in both cars thus far the aftermarket between the two has been very kind to us.
