I was surprised they didn't do some porting and polishing.

My guess is you are looking at a $25K upgrade.

Just about right. I'm there with FI so he could spend less depending on the way he goes

I'd say 5k for a forged lower end (high quality)
LT4 HPFP and Injectors, think they ran $1,500 total
1k on a cam (rough)
Intake manifold $1,000
TB $300
Ported heads-$1,000
Valves, springs etc (price dependent on what you want)
Headers-back $1,500-3k
Plus other odds and ends

Then there's labor and a tune..

Plus, on the lower end, they used an LT4 block. I thought the bare blocks were the same, but apparently there are some differences.

I know you've started a bunch of threads and I think you know it will take a bunch of work to equal any FI, I mean a bunch.

Heads, cam, converter, and a small shot of nitrous will down all blowers everyday of the week.. You would need to bring a real blower such as an F1 to the dance...

I pretty much know which way I'm going. Just like getting as much knowledge /information as possible and at the same time start up some interesting dialog on the forum.
