What did you decide, OP? I'm giving JDP my deposit on Monday. Heads/Cam should go on in Feb, I'm hoping. I'm thinking I'll do Stage II PD cam.... there aren't many out there that are boosted and cammed yet so it's hard to get good info. The 680 the above guy made is pretty cool.

Sorry guys, I was out of the mix over the holidays.
The other poster made a good point about the K&N - it doesn't do anything at all performance wise. I had purchased it well before I knew if any of the air intakes really worked and my Dash Command app was giving me false data. It does save me some money with replacement filters but that's it. I don't think I'm going to bother with an air intake though. With the cam I'll be around 650-700rwhp on the stock airbox, which is the maximum amount of power we can "safely" put out without going all forged. The air intakes are only netting a max of roughly 6rwhp - and that's with green filters, which I won't be running. Standard filter will give you half of that if you're lucky or the dyno is liberal. Based on my understanding of the whole intake situation, it's a lot of marketing BS. There's no real air restriction to overcome during tuning with the stock air box, so why would you need to spend $500 on an air intake if you can hit those same numbers without it? Our biggest restriction point (after fuel delivery of course) is on the exhaust side, so a good set of headers is really all you need to add. My shop's been testing all of them on a very accurate dyno. If they hit a restriction during the tuning, I'll add one but so far I'm being told that my money is better spent elsewhere. I actually dropped off my car last week and some of the parts still hadn't arrived yet, but everything should be ready to go this week. I'd love to take it to the strip at some point, but it'll be after I replace the rear axle, which isn't happening this round. I'm not sold yet on the aftermarket stuff so I looked into the ZL1 axles and they're twice as expensive. I'd need the entire assembly so I'll probably do that in the summer once I've had a chance to drive the car for a while after it thaws out here. I'd much rather put that $500 towards the axle than something that just makes my engine bay look cool. Btw, I'm not sure if anyone noticed yet but the weight difference between our cars and the ZL1 is about 250lbs (both stock). You can probably subtract about 100 lbs. from that for the Maggie, but factor in lighter wheels and better tires...so yeah, lol, I'd love to see what it can do at the strip. I literally learned to drive stick while waiting for my car to arrive last year and was able to hit the same 0-60 time that the A10 was getting - and that was with the stock wheels and run flats...so yeah, I'd love to have some slips

Chris (owner) is a friend of mine so I'm kind of bias. I ran his spool and axels in my GTO did some testing for him with the GTO coil over kits.. so I know he puts a lot of effort in to designing quality products. So much so that I'll be running several of their products on the SS |

I agree 110% their is a ton of BS out now days. The big one being headers and what they are worth HP wise |

Everyone needs a little lope! A custom cam is critical and specific to your performance needs especially the fuel lobe. Nice build buddy and it's cool to watch guys roll their window down at stop lights...
