Looks like a very insteresting equipment.

Where can you get the Mosconi DSP online?
It is definitely ingenious. I've heard of them before. Basically the subwoofer will be pushing the bass directly into the passenger cabin so with the convertible, you will get better sound with a smaller and slimmer woofer. The JL 10 we're using is the best low profile available on the market today.

As far as the Mosconi, you can get them online but warranty is void unless you purchase through a certified dealer and have them install it professionally. Chances are slim you would need the warranty since all electronics are fairly reliable today. You also really need an audio engineer to setup the DSP and tune it correctly with all of the hundreds of settings available.

I hope to get more pics today.

Yea, I had never heard of them either. Apparently it will take the post amplified Bose signal and do all kinds of crazy things to it way above and beyond a regular line converter or even the AudioControl LC's.

Looks like a 4k job to me, just guessing. Looking good as well it should give you plenty of punch being in the cab like that (sub).

Exactly. Doing a truly high end system isn't cheap. Mine was over 10 and took three weeks. Took ten hours just to tune it. Nice to see cool systems in these cars. Kudos.

That's some beautiful work with the black acrylic and translucent inlay!
Be nice to sync that backlighting to the interior strip color changes.

Everything is done. It sounds great but need to go back to the shop on Monday.

When testing/listening to the system, we were inside the garage with the engine off and the engine never probably was turned on the whole time after connecting everything up... that means Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) never had a chance to kick in!

On the way home, it started sounding like garbage to the point there is this huge loud booming and the entire stereo is all sub. Even with the head unit off, loud booming. Open the door = fixed.

Read through a few threads on here and emailed the guy at the shop. It's definitely ANC based on the symptoms. Asked them if they cut the mics and just waiting for a response. 99% sure I need to get the mics cut on Monday.

I'll post pics of the finished sub install once I take them.

Yep, gotta cut the mic's. Everything I've researched has said that is the number one thing shops don't do that causes problems. Can't wait to see pics of the finished product. I've yet to pull the trigger on my upgrade. I thought I had what I wanted specked, but hard to put that kind of $$$ down with so little evidence of shops actually knowing what the hell they're doing - not enough of a reference base I guess. Can't blame the shops though. It's guys like you that pave the way for the rest of us. Thanks for being one of the few guinea pigs upgrading your vert!

You can just disconnect the mics inside the door panels, there's no need to cut the wires.
