Could be a little to do with the car breaking in, but also could be trying to drive outside the criteria skip-shift engages.

I cannot imagine the 1LE getting much worse economy than a SS. My SS is great, for what it is, on fuel economy, actually. Until you get on it, that is; when all 6.2L start drinking.

Keep in mind that during break in period you're not supposed to keep the revs steady for an extended period of time. It should get considerably better once I can drive normally.

if your mostly highway you will be over 20 MPG.... check all the car mags long term tests... they've put tons of miles on them and theyre averaging 19mpg and they arent gentle on them....

Sway bar isn't bad at all to live with but it does remind you from time to time that it's there. it's really only on that road crown leaving work that I notice it trying to pick the tire up. In every other circumstance its fine. I will say you should always take speed bumps square. The splitter clears without issue. If you try to take them at an angle with a little speed the sways are so stiff that it will feel like its trying to toss you out of the side windows. LOL! Once moving at speed its completely fine. I don't have any complaints with them just observations that they are pretty strong.

Throttle lag was a complaint of mine. It does seem to have a fair bit of dead space on initial throttle tip in even in track mode, but when up to speed and pushing the car a little I don't notice it at all. You notice it mostly when giving the car a few revs out of gear not so much when driving. That was another thing that on the first day seemed to need some getting used to but by day 2 I forgot all about it unless I was showing it off to friends and giving it a few blips.

I cannot stress enough how impressed I am with this car! I had very high expectations and it hasn't disappointed me. This car is so extremely good at so many things, but you can tell its best at carving up the turns when you start to push it.
Yeah thats one thing that bothers me about production cars... that extra bit of lag in initial throttle tip in...

I wish the Vitesse had a function where you could specifically adjust that... I figure the throttle mapping isnt too bad otherwise...

Given I only have 130 miles on the car, I haven't really noticed the throttle lag issues you guys are talking about.

Same here. Only about 50 miles on mine, just in Sport mode, throttle seems fine to me.

I do notice the car idles a bit rough. Not as smooth as some other cars I have had. Sounds nasty though!
After further research and digging...

Vitesse throttle controller.... a Day 1 install for me...

Fine tune the throttle response to eliminate the dead spot... and the GM driver modes will still change the throttle response but will do it from your new normal since the VTC isn't connected to the cars on board computers... it merely tunes the signal from the pedal to the wires...

Once moving I don't really notice it. Is doesn't affect the cars drivability.

My friend has this is his SS, I don't like it at all, it makes the throttle feel very artificial.

I actually did feel something with the throttle, but it wasn't a lag, it was the opposite. I was doing a bit of throttle steering on a steady state corner, and when I lifted and taped the throttle to get the car to rotate a bit the jump from the throttle was excessive. I was in Sport mode.
