My personal experience.... as long as your car is registered in a different state and not in Virginia theyll just tell you your tints are too dark but wont give you the citation.

zip tie actually may not work for every one, learned it when I took my car for state sticker...guy wouldn't pass inspection unless bracket is mounted the right way, now I need to deal with those two holes in the black grill trim

feel sorry for the two holes man, I'm going to the dealer to install it today, they said they gonna order the plate holder for me, I hope it's a proper holder, not just two holes on my trim

It's actually the factory camaro bracket that needs to be riveted to the black trim which created the two holes. So my advise - forget getting anything from dealer, just order the sto n sho.
