I'm there with ya OP, just couldnt do black. Although the amount of dust on my wheels makes them look black at times. They're slate grey

At first I was like you OP I disliked black wheels but then when I purchase my car with the stock low gloss I fell in love, clean they look awesome and they hide brake dust when dirty. But I will always love the gunmetal or graphite look

If my car were blue, dark bronze would be my choice for wheels. But gunmetal looks really good. I can use gunmetal over black in any car color.

I think the matte black wheels look best on the hyper blue and the yellow cars. The contrast is just right.

That said...I still may do some gun metal colored wheels at some point. Like that look as well.

I love gunmetal... but I'm gonna be doing something very similar to this:

so with a two tone look... a third color will be a bit too busy for my liking....
