Why people likes black rims....
When gun metal is available
 I do not like blacks, you cant appreciate wheel design and need some contrast from tires. Love the fittment, 305/30/20 pirellis and stock rears in front, looks fantastic!

Because sometimes gunmetal is not the best choice. I'd much rather have black rims on a white car, than gunmetal. It all depends how you mix and match your paints and wheels. I have owned all three, and like all three, for certain applications.

Why do people like gunmetal rims when you could have black ones?
Yay, we all get opinions! I like black because it doesn't create another competing color on the car, on most cars. You know, you get the paint color, then black plastic bits of various shades, probably some chrome here and there (ugh), then another shade of grey for the wheels. No thanks, not for me on most cars. Your black looks great with gunmetal, but my blue looks better with black. I don't believe in absolutes! Absolutely none of them (ha). |

Gunmetal will definitely go better with my car. Have thought about going with the polished powder coat. But the extra cost, wait and availability pretty much swayed my decision. Gunmetal is no compromise though and will tie in my stripes a bit, since they are actually a metallic gray color. I still may go with the GM ones though...
