It does not mean they will void your warranty/refuse to repair the vehicle.

Especially if the failure is a known issue they should do you right.

My 2014 Silverado spun a rod bearing. at 28k miles. It has a tune, headers and cai. They knew damn well that didn't cause the bearing failure

Full replacement motor no questions asked. Free towing and a rental.

But one should assume the risk when tuning. Not everyone will get so lucky.
I guess one could argue the fact that they have trucks from the factory that are Flex Fuel but my dealer is anal about modifications, especially if they didn't install them.

I created a new thread for the install guide. It is very rough right now but I will be getting it completed over the next few days. I am finally caught up on orders

I do not have any results for a H/C car yet. I believe the gains will be comparable. HOWEVER, the real issue to focus on is the fuel system. Do you happen to have logs from your car showing injector pulse widths during a WOT dyno pull?

Feel free to give me a call if you want to discuss in detail.

Thank you,
Tim

You should. Even more if you raised the compression from stock with milling or thinner head gaskets. Higher the compression the bigger the gains from e85.

I don't think the stock fuel system will support a heads/cam e85 car but just guessing.

How much does the additional 30% fuel lobe available on some cams help with the fueling issue? Guessing not much on its own?

It will help some. Obtaining some logs with the injector pulse width data will tell me how much margin is left across the RPM band. I suspect LT4 high side pump/injectors will be needed.

I would really love to be able to offer a fuel setup for H/C with E85 or N20 with E85 that won't break the bank. There just aren't many setups out there right now to collect data from. This should change in the next few months.

I am at 450rwhp and 5ms and for an experiment I added 20% fuel to 6ms and it pushed my a/f from about 13/1 down to 10.2/1. The pressures all held. I think the stock set up would do at least 540rwhp on e85.

How much power will a heads cam motor make? Add in a zl1 in tank pump for under $200 and the larger lobe on the cam and I would bet the fuel system would go to 600na on e85.
