That's better than I expected. Sheetz is only one I can find locally so far.

How would a Roto-fab cai affect the tune? would it have to be slightly different or wouldn't it make a difference?

Great question!

Rotofab does not impact the tune in any appreciable way. That is one of the advantages over some of the competitors. We can correct for the others but this isn't necessary with the Rotofab units.

I do extend operating range of the MAF translation table in the ECM. The stock frequency range is not adequate beyond stock power levels. The new curve is fully calibrated so commanded AFR and WB AFR will be within 1% of each other.

That is a great picture for something I wanted to point out. Please notice how the retainer for the Racetronix fitting slides over ridge on the 3/8" hard line. That is how the retainer should fit on the feed line when you install the kit. If you place the retainer behind the ridge you won't be able to seat the retainer all the way.

I just want to make sure that doesn't get missed during installation.

Newbie question, what kind of HP increase can one expect on a completely stock car using E85? Is it even worth getting?

30-40rwhp. it is a great bang for the buck. where I live it is even cheaper per mile to drive on e85. premium is $2.60 and e85 is $1.60

That's a pretty decent gain! Any potential long term damage to the car?

no but as stated above it requires a tune and that might effect parts of your warranty. potentially the entire power train.

Tune will void the warranty, no doubt. Sucks GM doesn't make the car Flex Fuel from the factory. Some of their trucks are Flex Fuel.

I don't get it either. the entire fuel system can handle it and an extra 30-40hp seems like it would be a selling point all for the price of one sensor.

I got my kit yesterday now I need to find time to install and find a place close by to get it tuned. Hey Tim do you have instructions for the install?

It can void the warranty.

It does not mean they will void your warranty/refuse to repair the vehicle.

Especially if the failure is a known issue they should do you right.

My 2014 Silverado spun a rod bearing. at 28k miles. It has a tune, headers and cai. They knew damn well that didn't cause the bearing failure

Full replacement motor no questions asked. Free towing and a rental.

But one should assume the risk when tuning. Not everyone will get so lucky.
