With the vert you're going to want to add that BMR brace underneath the drive shaft I think. If you've got an M6, you usually add 15% for crank. My numbers are also adding 19rwhp from the ARH long tubes plus I have a custom tune. The stock maggie tune will run too rich. The warranty is worthless on all of these SC's so don't let that hold you back.

I just read this again - I originally thought you meant the little bars and I thought they had to remove them from my car, but photos show they're there. I'm at work and it's been raining all week so I don't have the car here to look at. I definitely don't have a bar that goes over the maggie and never had one in my car to begin with. Do you mean the one they came out with that you can buy from GM when you say stock, or do the verts come with one?

Yep - I believe it is an accessory for sale as well, but the verts come with it stock for rigidity I believe.

Also - I suppose I could just look at the install manual again, but do these cranks get pinned?

If it doesn't, Edelbrock sells this separately:

the GM strut tower brace I'm not so sure it will fit in a Maggie. Sledge did a install video on a GM strut tower brace and it barly clears his stock intake. I'm sure that the Maggie (havn't tested mine yet) rises up a bit more than the stock intake. by how much? I'm not sure. I have yet to install it.

Thanks. Going to have to find the video/picture I saw of the install that had a Maggie under the stock brace.

Warranty doesn't scare me off - I plan on installing myself so it is likely I wouldn't have the warranty anyway. Lol/

that's my only thought. I spent how much money on this car and with 2600 miles now going to put a power adder that could potentially void the warranty! eek. ohh well I've already purchased it. Personally I have a tech at a dealership that I bought the car from who I'm sorta close with and he will help me if I need it.

Excellent. Yep - my thoughts exactly. But that's also the reason I plan on going Maggie. I like the proven reliability of the Maggie. That is not at all to say the others aren't any good. Just that I have had Maggie's on stock vehicles before and plan on sticking with the company.

So I haven't found the vid/pic of the Maggie under the stock strut tower brace. That said, I did find the pic of the Edelbrock fitting under the stock tower brace. So does anyone know which sits higher, edlebrock or Maggie?

Had my Maggie installed and the tower brace had to go on my 16 vert. Had a local Chevy dealer that is also a speed shop do the work for the warranty....just in case. The service manager told me the new cars as so stiff that unless you are going to autocross it you will won't need to do anything. And since most track won't let us play with the vert, probably no need.
