That would ultimately be up to Tim. I would have to see what they do to theirs and if I could still turn into one of ours. Do they cut the TB blade bar down at all? If you could PM me some pics that would be great and help in determining what I could do with it.

We will only take stock units as a core return. I would go with just the IM since you already have a ported TB. The IM is on sale separately on our BF page. http://efi-tuning.net/black-friday-specials/ Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving! Tim |

Are the gains on a Stock ECU M6 SS car minimalistic with the ported TB/Intake Manifold combo? I thought you covered this in another post but I could be mistaken.

The max we saw was 12rw. The average was around 6rw. The car in we tested on already had a cat back and was on the way lean side of things with it for making power. It was maxed out that way. The TB didn't really lean things out so it made good power but the intake manifold took it over the edge and leaned it out to where it wasn't making any more power. If the car started at the normal rich AFR you typically see on a stock car I am confident it would have picked up more power. What I don't know is how the driving fuel trimming would have been effected and subsequent AFR levels at WOT with some miles. This was a straight back to back on the dyno test.

I know the rule of thumb is if you can't afford to rebuild don't mod but how hard would it be for a dealership to pick up on this mod?

They would have to pull them off and look at them to tell the difference. No external clues.
