Nice! Regardless, your rides a beauty.

I'm thinking about putting a Stinger stripe on my vette, but i've never added decals to my of my cars before. Is this something i should have my tint guy do or i should just try and tackle it down myself?

This Stripes are easy, but a stinger might require some experience, the tint shop do it for 25 or 30 bucks.

The problem I have with black, and it's just personal opinion, is it does look bad ass when the car is sitting and posing, as in the picture. But the minute you start rolling, it just looks like dirty black wheels and big black holes where you should have some bling.

Next year these may come off if I can find either a black wheel with a nice polished trim ring, , or a true solid machine face black wheel.
I certainly agree and understand your point of view. I had the split 5's and in motion, they look the best especially with red.

When I put the black rims on, it amazes me how the black rims blends in with all the black accents of the car. After 7 months of silver wheels, I would say black wheels give the car more personality and looks much much more aggressive.

To each of their own, just depends on what kind of personality the owner wants their car to project

Funny I felt the exact same way on my previous car. It is 10x worse when the car is WHITE. I'd have my car parked in the driveway and be riding home with the wife in her car. The moment we'd turn the corner and see my car the black wheels made my car look like the wheels were gone. You couldn't see any wheel detail until you were within 10feet... lol.

Black wheels look great though on darker colored cars IMHO.

Added Mishimoto Catch Can and Rotofab Cold Air Intake. I put about 75 miles on it after the CAI and I can feel the difference.

73 sunny degrees in Sarasota today, A full blown detail back down to bare paint and rebuilt today, watch the cosmetic section for details/step-by-step with pics. Will be using my griots CORDLESS polisher, what a great tool.

My once a year regimen........

Been contemplating this myself, last time was July. But I think I'm going to tackle some fascia paint chips first.

Annual usually, give or take, just when it's convenient, not religious about it, but it keeps the microscratches down to a minimum from brushing up against paint, loading things in trunk, etc all year. I'm looking from start to finish in 3-4 hours....

Nice! I installed the same combo a couple months back and I could feel a deference too. Nothing huge but better response for sure

First change of the oil at 2,400 miles on my 50th V6. Oil filter is about the same place as an SS, but the oil plug is not. Kept trying to lookup videos or pictures to verify the plug I was seeing was the correct one. Turns out, it was. Oil seemed pretty dark for only 2,400 miles. Put on a new Fram Ultra Synthetic XG10575 filter and 6 qts of Penzoil Platinum 5W-30. When I filled up the 5qt jug with the old oil, I seemed to only have about 5 1/4 qts. Assuming the rest is still in the filter, oil catch and lining the engine.
