Anyone else, who is going the route of disconnecting the negative terminal, have issues with it not coming off, after the screws were taken off?
I didn't force the issue, as not to break anything, so I wasn't sure if I had to do something else, or it just needed to be jiggled to loosen and come off. Please let me know, and what you did to get it off. Thanks |

Thanks for the info, I may unwrap the back end of my car and give it another try, especially the part of spreading the terminal with a screwdriver, never thought of that. |

We like to say that it's due to winter-weather drivability; however, its a good excuse to baby them, and keep the mileage low....! LOL!

I'm confused by the manual for the "US 3300 Camaro" battery charger which I bought with the car. It is written as though the battery is under the hood like the majority of cars. It states:
1. Connect positive charger clip (red) to positive battery terminal. 2. Connect negative charger clip (black) to a good metal engine ground away from the battery. Do not clip to fuel lines or sheet-metal body parts. Sorry for the stupid question, but this is my first time. Do you connect it under the hood, or in the trunk where the battery is? |

For what it's worth the positive connection doesn't seem as good as the negative connection. It seems like the positive clamp could easily jar loose. I took a photo for anyone like me who has never done it before. Last edited by Max Headroom; 11-20-2016 at 07:22 PM. Reason: added info |
