Definitely go if you have the time, worth it, tons of fun. Just stay safe, lots of stupid drivers that I saw, especially motorcycles going way too fast and acting stupid.

Have a run at Moonshiner 28 out of Deals Gap down past the river and on to the 4 lane. I think that run is as challenging as The Dragon.

The Cherohala Skyway is a great drive, too. If you are lucky you might be catching the fall colors.

Lots of great driving in the area. Today I took Little River Road out of Gatlinburg to the Foothills Parkway to US129 through the Dragon and 28 to US74 to Cherokee and then US441 back to Gatlinburg. Probably one of my favorite drives of all time. Done it several times in other cars and the Harley. Perfect weather, didn't see the first cop. Not too crowded either.

28 is a blast! I took 28 off of 74 to 129. 28 by Fontana Dam is a beautiful area and roads are indeed curvy, hilly, and a blast to drive! My SS in sport mode handled like a champ.

Lots of colors for the leaves still, probably another 2 weeks or so, especially if is atays this warm.

Yeah that sounds like an awesome drive. 441 to Gatllinburg is awesome. Did you stop off at Clingmans Dome? I haven't been up there in a while, want to take my car up there and then drive back down to Cherokee to take the BRP down through Asheville, best part of the parkway in my opinion...just love that whole area, so many awesome roads and so much beautiful scenery.

Didn't get up there this time around. it was getting dark when we were in that area. It is a great drive though.

I want to say that I am totally impressed with the performance of these cars. I got the G-Meter up to 1.05g's. I'm sure there was some help from the road since most of the corners on the Dragon are banked, but impressive nonetheless. Also, it is really easy to help rotate the rear of the car around corners with the throttle and control under braking is awesome.

The wife and I spent a lot of hours in the car on all types of roads this weekend and I can't believe how comfortable this car is. There is also the fact that i didn't see any other 2016's all weekend. I got many looks, comments, and thumbs ups all weekend. Loving the SS!

Got this picture from 129 Photos...

Nice! Yeah these cars are awesome. Handles the curves with a breeze, tons of power on the open roads, but docile for other times. I bought a couple of photos too, got a digital one from Killboy and a poster size of another for the garage from 129 photos. Those guys are over the place in their tents.
