Injen evolution cold air intake installed

Installed the injen evolution CIA today and am pretty impressed. Hopefully will have dyno numbers soon!

People with aftermarket intakes should post videos of the sound. I know on my old Cobalt ss the turbo got 3 times louder with cool blow off noises.

+1 when i installed a k&n typhoon on my 2011 kia koup it made it sound nice and agressive!

working on it stupid GoPro is being bitchy along with every other electronic device in my house... But the blow-off went from next to silent that we know to very noticeable.

Likely would be even more noticeable with the other model intake from Injen that doesn't enclose the filter.
What made you choose the enclosed one over the other? Any advantages/disadvantages for either? I'll be getting an intake for my first go-fast mod soon.

I went with the open because it was available and i'm a very impatient man. I don't regret a thing.

I chose this one for the obvious reason the injen claimed better numbers with it over the other model

And it is enclosed because it routes to the factory placement at the bottom of the box which pulls the air from down low by the front grille area

The bend in the pipe is a lot tighter then the open model. Might restrict that cool airflow more then help not sure.

Should have a quick Injen Open CAI video for you tonight gotta go to work for now. Will hopefully have a Flowmaster Axle-Back one for tomorrow.

Your post will determine my two first mods ... That set up is what I was wanting to to go with too... Either axle back or cat back... From what hear online the axle back could be just as pleasing to the ear as the catback
