I would have liked folding mirrors but other than that , I don't have any complaints. I'm loving my whip.

Love the car, hate the 2 associated things that come with it.

- Lack of a spare tire...what kind of man calls for help with a flat? I'm just old school
- The window ledge is really high, makes it hard to lay your arm up there like a good redneck while driving
- Skanky women are attracted to the car
- It didn't come with CAI, headers, more aggressive cam, ported heads, 228 wheels, and a blower
- Too many other cars on the road...I can't have enough fun
1 - Change to ceramic pads, makes a world of difference.

2 - This one bothers me the most, way too many cars on the road.

Haven't been called a skank since high school, I think I might have missed it a bit. I am 100% attracted to this car and not even a tiny bit ashamed to admit it. I whisper dirty things to it all the time. I think my husband is a little jealous and might regret buying it for me sometimes.

I'm having a hard time finding something I don't like about my car. Maybe that it seems to make other drivers very aggressive, which sometimes I like, but other times, I just wanna cruise.

Hi everyone, new to the forum here and I've had my 2017 2SS for about 3 months now. I LOVE the car except for one big thing that just bugs me. Sometimes, usually when it's cold and hasn't warmed up yet, when it shifts from first to second gear (I have an automatic) it's a very rough shift and jerks me in my seat. It just seems like even when cold it shouldn't shift that hard and it's only from first to second.

I just had my all season tires put on the car for the winter driving and I had them look at my shifting concern and they told me there were no errors showing up on a diagnostic test and that there is nothing wrong with the car but that they have been hearing about this complaint with the 6.2 V-8's. It doesn't happen all the time but I'm always bracing for the rough shift when just pulling out of my drive and it bugs me. I hope there isn't anything really wrong with the car and it is just a case of warming up.

Oh, and the only other annoying thing are my squeaky brakes. The dealership glazed them and tried to make it better but it's still there.

While there is plenty to like about the Gen6, there are a few things that could be improved.
Let's assume Chevy is listening and wants to improve the Gen6 (7?) from customer feedback: Rear seat headroom is insufficient for anyone over 5'-2" (hitting one's head on bumpy road is unacceptable), center console is too wide by driver's right knee (I created my own slimmer knee pad to gain a half inch), trunk needs to be enlarged at least able to fit a set of golf clubs (without lowering back seat), and rear seat windows & rear windshield visibility needs to be increased (safety issue), Nav/Mylink screen should be user rotated/adjusted to avoid glare (rather than be aimed at back seat), performance (6-cyl) exhaust sound is tinny sounding - a lower rumble sounds more powerful, and MyLink software updates should be user downloadable.
Only by listening to customers will a company increase sales and grow its business - Is GM Listening??.

Any recommendations on the pads (brand)?

The skank remark was only for fun BTW

I went with Power Stop Z26's, others use Hawk. Check out the brakes section lower down in the forum. Some great info in there.

I kinda figured about the skank thing, I just like playing along.

Holy shit the amount of rattles in my car. One in the driver door, one in the passenger door.. one in the back right speaker area.... another one in the dash within the left vent to the left of the steering wheel.

I live on somewhat crappy roads but I feel like I bought a beater, all these rattles on a car with only 6000 miles on it is crazy.

edit2: disabling via the app requires access to onstar cell service (which i already removed) ... even while connected to the wifi.
It's amazing that there is no option directly through mylink. Physical removal it is.
For my info - is there a reason you want to disable it? I named my SSID 'Red Dragon' so anytime I am near anyones phone they are prompted to sign in to Red Dragon

I don't like having to adjust the brightness of the HUD every morning and night.

I'll be honest for the sole purpose of a completely unbiased review. I drive like I stole this fu**er every day. The Power Stops have been great. I have an M6, and I use the engine to slow me down most times, but when some A-hole cuts me off or just exhibits their A-holeness, they've stopped me dead when needed. I have, and do, staked my life on them, daily. Haven't failed me yet.

Glen,

Curious about your comment on wireless charging. I have brand new 2ss and wireless doesn't work with a new Samsung S7. Did you/are you having problems? Mine connects for about 5 sec, beeps and disconnects. Any feedback appreciated.

It's not the right size, msny have connection problems, only a few phones work. GM should have left it off instead of a half baked feature. Search here.... many have problems with it.
