hey guys. my 2011 V6 got t-boned when I was on vacation in florida :(. been looking at buying a new 50th V8 wanted one since i saw it. but have been trying to decide if i want the GM body kit or not. been looking all over and cant find anyone who has one installed on a 50th. has anyone seen one or has pics to show so I can make my decision. thx

You probably don't see anyone with it because it's not a compatible factory option with the H50. Many options added after the H50 end up removing the H50 package. It's funny because you can't add the 50th Anniversary floor mats when you have the H50 selected. I'm sure you can get the ground effects/body kit as an aftermarket or order from the dealer separate and have them or you install it.

Chalk one up in the DFW area. It's not a 50th anniversary special edition, but it is a 2017 with the steering wheel "FIFTY" badge.

Bummer on the wreck.

I've not seen any one with a 50 put that kit on. Would have to look at the Nightfall Grey thread to get idea of it on the color. The 50 does come with a front splitter already so you would have to work with your dealer and parts department to order the other parts separately.

They fixed the ordering issue with the mats it seems. Seen plenty of Windows stickers with them as part of the order now.

I know the online tools we have access to as customers still have issues though.

Thanks for info on that. looked for a while and any dealer ive spoke to does not seem to know much about these cars at all

I wonder if the H50 is limited in Canada, I saw one post where an Invoice was marked, handwritten, "the only one we expect to get" at first I thought is was a sales ploy, but maybe not.

Some of us know that feeling going from a 5g 6 to a 6g 8 and there is only one comparison I can think of. That it feels like a Camaro, it's still got the DNA of the 5th which is awesome.

Heard a story today where they cut threads off of some bolts during the development phase to save a few ounces. That's impressive.

Now that the word is getting out about how well made this car is, and with the ZL1 and 1LE's on their way, I think 2017 will be a good year for the Camaro.

I have noticed a huge difference in the amount of soot on the tail pipe tips between 2014 2SS and my 2SS H50. The pipes on the Gen5 would be black every day, the Gen6 never get hardly any soot at all.
