The DWS06 all seasons came out to around $900 shipped, You can use them all year around and they run much more quiet then the stock Good Year's... There is another thread on them, check that out before you decide is all i am saying.

Where did you get a set? None of the sites I've used (including BFG's site) state that they make a complete set that will fit our stock wheels, front and rear.

The rear size they have is 285/35/20. 10mm bigger will be negligible.
Thatis the problem with the search function on tire rack. No results unless exact match

Skip, I would agree on just finding a set of All Seasons to get you through your trip. Are you moving to AZ or just being a snowbird for the 4 months you stated? If you are staying here, a dedicated set of winters wouldnt be a bad idea for the future. As far as the trip goes, you jnow we dont really get snow around here until January and February. You shouldnt have to worry about any real measurable snow fall on your trip. Should only have to be concerned with the cold temps and possible freezing rain.

Well, I've attempted to order (at TR) this size and they're on "back order" and "closeout" which, according to their fine print, they will no longer be getting. How did you get yours?

One thing I haven't seen posted is the tire warranty for these AS3's. This is from the Tirerack site and the same is on the GoodYear's site:

Goodyear's warranty states that "ultra high-performance summer tires are not recommended for winter use, and tread or shoulder cracking on those tires resulting from winter use will not be covered under our warranty," so like all summer tires, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is not intended to be stored, serviced or driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

At the end of the day I'm not racing this beast and may push it some from time to time but nothing crazy so I will replace mine with the all season BFG Comp series.

Without snow or ice, there should be no issues getting out of 3 states, if you hit snow though... well... That's a tough time to count on no snow though, and once you're a week-ish out it's too late to do anything from that point.

And the irony of the "snow/ice" drive mode...
