Well.... I never said worthless, but its fast becoming more of a zero sum gain unless you heavily mod. Yea, I flip flopped a bit. If the same thing happens on the Carmaro that did on the stingray with the exact same engine - it will be worthless! Since its not inTune this time, I dont see that happening. Remember Ive had a GT, Stingray, RT, SS and Z the last 9 months - and canned tune tested all of them (all 2016s) - muscle car heaven, well not Venom, Aventador, or Spyder level Heaven. ;O)

This will be the first non-canned tune for me (Jannetty Racing)...from the reviews around the net, hes pretty solid. Will find out Thursday!
It's been a while since Jannetty tuned one of my cars. He did my 2008 Mustang Bullitt and my Gen5 Camaro and both were excellent performance improvements...thanks to Ted. I would like to hear some of those who have used the Jannetty 2016 Camaro tune as to the improvements documented. I still have my SCT tuner and may have to give Jannetty a call.

Thank you for your continued business.

As I stated earlier we can make the car feel a bit better through torque management reduction if the car is all stock.

Power comes from the parts, tuning makes the parts work to they're full potential.

We are recommending ARH LT headers and exhaust for best bolt on gains with our tuning.

CAI is due to release the newest Patented version we are excited about this model, I should have some by the middle of the month or sooner.

Ted.

Looking forward to the release of the new CAI intake. That's what I've been waiting on to add it to my Camaro. As for headers I'm having to wait some more due to tuning issues still with 2017s.

We can tune the 2017 now with HPtuners.

Yeah, ABADZL1 and I, had been helping them get the beta working by logging my car and sending all kinds of stuff in to them.

It's 6 credits and still has some issues/work arounds. I'm holding off for the moment.

For anyone on the fence with tuning, I'd like to share my experience.

Purchased the SCT tuner from JannettyRacing which comes with 1 free custom tune. First of all NO ONE else gives you a custom tune for free - canned yes, custom absolutely not. Ted sent me a custom tune and asked for logging as he saw something stand out - which showed lean on idle. Turned out to be the way my CAI (Cold Air Inductions brand) was rotated which affected flow across the MAF - what a great catch!

The tune gave my SS more power throughout the curve, better throttle response and most surprising of all, a slight bump in MPG. How, I dont know...but 3 tanks later can confirm its true.

All I can say is it was well worth the price and the tune wasnt dialed up to crazy engine threatening levels - which Im not interested in anyways. Big double thumbs up here!

Hi Ted,

Will you be able to provide a tune for a 16 1SS with Stainless Works headers and catback exhaust? I may be doing a ported throttle body and CAI as well depending on if we can get confirmation that roto-fab's CAI proves to add any benefit.

I purchased my setup from you for my Gen5 1SS and was very happy with the parts and tune. Just hoping to repeat the experience with my Gen6 but, want to make sure it's something you feel comfortable we can have great results with.

thanks

Hello Darth, Absolutely I have done this combo at least a dozen times already I am very confident in the tune I will provide.

Thank you for your business.

Note we are a Stainless works dealer which would qualify you for a FREE tune with purchase from JRE.

Ted.

Waiting for the A8 tune. Too bad he can't do a tune for E85, that's what I want to do.

I'm considering a tune from a tuner who uses HP, just worried about a flash counter and the warranty

I tune with HPtuners since 2003 and can help you, but still prefer to tune remotely with SCT.

There is no getting around the Flash counter.

Ted.
