If not, what is the best way for me to fix this?
I don't hear any rubbing...are other people experiencing the same issue as u encountered?
Yes it can happen with 35s but depends on offset. A harness under the wheel well liner causes the liner to protrude and rub. Lethal has a video on correcting it by repositioning the harness.

From Discount Tires Site:
You can take to the streets like it's a track day when you drive on the next generation Nitto NT555 G2. With its aggressive directional tread pattern, dual continuous center ribs and race-influenced compound, it delivers thrilling performance, stellar dry and wet traction and a longer lasting tread life, all at a great value. If you want great summer handling without breaking the bank, look to the Nitto NT555 G2.
First tire change, haven't tried anything else.

As for speedo recalibration, I just took 2 150 mile freeway drives and it was about 1% off, so I'm not worried about it.

Timothy,

Please call me when you have a moment to discuss how our recommendations have "failed you" if I may as I always do my best to keep everyone happy. This is by far the firs time in 3 years of being on this board I have had a member state I have disappointed them with my recommendation and thus lead to me having a negative review.

Please note that in my original review on this board i mentioned neither you nor your shop. I simply asked if others had the same experience and for advice. Then went on to say I should have done more research, placing the blame on me and not you. I did the same thing on yelp.
I appreciate you attentiveness to your customer reviews but please don't think I set out to flame your shop.

It dried up a bit today and I went out for a tire test. I'm convinced now I like these better than the F1s. There is a curve with a heavy washboard at the exit and these gripped much better and hopped over less than the Goodyears. I'm more interested in lateral than straight-line traction though too. Never even used the 0-60 timer.

I am going to buy the Nitto G2's, 295-35's and 275-35's up front. 295's are just a little shorter and a little narrower
