IMO, forget the dremel! Use a drill bit the exact size of the original hole. Use a smaller bit to get a center point, then use the bigger one. To do the notches, use the dremel, then a file to square off the edges.

a different possible solution: why not cutting the "cone-shaped" part at the base (where reflectors are) and move it to the new part, after making the same modification? You would not lose time in adapting the socket as it can simply be reglued to the new part, perhaps using a strong acrylic glue.

No, those part numbers are for the clear reflectors. You just have to create a hole in the reflector to accept the bulb socket.

i just ordered the smoked reflector kit but would rather smoke all of them and have clear on the front sides!

They fit both. Each part number I listed above is for either the right or left side. They just flip front to rear on each side.
