I know they aren't "air conditioned" seats, but I can't feel any flow at all from either seat with just my hand on the seat. On the S.O.'s Toyota seats, you can definitely feel air coming from the seating surface.

When I'm already sweating or have any dampness on my skin they are great. Otherwise they are a waste imo.

I wish they were a/c seats. That I'd LOVE!

You can switch the mode to blow AC to the floor as well, this way the fans for the seats will pull colder air from the floor. They work well for me, they keep your back from sweating, especially on longer trips.

Glad I'm not the only one.

I only had that warming effect the one time and it very well could have been the air the seat was getting was itself not cool and/or my backside was already cool enough that what I was feeling felt warm by comparison. Not sure.

In any case, I maintain that the seats are functioning as intended but there are many variables to consider in their effectiveness. Sure wish they were just ducted in with the A/C system and then you'd get cooling or heating without anything in the seat other than the fan(s) although I'm sure there's a reason why they didn't do that (complexity, cost, etc.).

My biggest wish list item along these lines would be a chilled steering wheel. I doubt very much I'll ever use the heated wheel option here in Florida and if I do, not very often, but having a cooling option would be killer. A man can dream...

That works for me and I can feel the cool air through the seat. I keep the air split between directed at me and directed to the floor settings.
