Seat Cooling

Those of you that have the cooling fan feature in your seats, can you actually feel the air coming from the seats if you just hold your hand on the seat?

I know they aren't "air conditioned" seats, but I can't feel any flow at all from either seat with just my hand on the seat. On the S.O.'s Toyota seats, you can definitely feel air coming from the seating surface.

When I'm wearing a T-Shirt or a lighter shirt, I can feel the air come through when it's turned on. However it's very light and i can't really feel anything with just the hand.

Without AC on, you can BARELY feel it if you are lucky especially if it's 95-105 daily there like it is here however, if you have the AC set to feet it will definitely become a COOLED seat and not just vented.

Not with the hand but after my morning run I can feel the air on my legs and other parts down there. Also, on my back.

You can. It's not forceful but instead provides enough cooling to make a difference.

Remember the ventilated seats are just that. There are a couple of fans in each seat. That's it. Just to prevent your backside from sweating. I wish they could just pump the Air Conditioning thru these seat fans. Than I would really feel like the picture above with John Candy...................

I think you feel it more when your sweating and pulls the heat away from you. I'm honestly not even sure if it blows, but rather pull the heat away. Sorta like when you sweat and you feel that nice breeze type of feeling. I don't really feel it outside of what I just said.

I jump into my car the moment I start feeling hot and crank the A/C and the vented seats, cools me off quickly.

You can switch the mode to blow AC to the floor as well, this way the fans for the seats will pull colder air from the floor. They work well for me, they keep your back from sweating, especially on longer trips.

These are also the first vented seats that I've actually felt cooling my lower back area. It really helps when you're wearing a buttoned down dress shirt for work and don't have a t-shirt on underneath. Once you have it, you won't want another car without it (if you use it to drive to work).
