Another alternative. I just used these and they worked pretty well. Precut, just put them on and heat them up with a hair dryer to get them to stick really well.

Did the very same thing last Saturday. About 10 minutes per bow tie - done!

And thank you Raptor5244 - I think I got this idea and link from you from another post.

I had a hard time getting Mine off, I was being careful not to break it. Painted it hyper blue, cleared it and popped it back on, Looks Great!!!

It is funny how Chevy can make such an awesome looking car but just about everyone wants to replace or modify the bowtie. the Camaro should get a unique set of emblems like the Corvette.

Changed mine over the weekend with the black Inserts from Phastek. Took 25 minutes. Tool setup and cleanup included. Took 10 Minutes to get the leftover adhesive off the front, but that was the worst part of the job.
painless!

I did exactly this and my bow tie looks amazing however when trying to put back the metal and plastic piece, the hood doesn't sit flush anymore with the bumper.

I can't seem to figure out what exactly went wrong, whether I bent/damaged the plastic/bumper from seating properly.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Check the bold part in the first quote, I believe that is your key. Those are height adjusters. Looks like you may not have them adjusted properly from your photo. That area should be flush/flat.

Took mine off NP

Took mine off with no problem, pull with some force and slid a thin screw driver behind the emblem. It came off pretty easy, sprayed bombed it flat black. Wanted no chrome around bow tie.

I played with it for a few hours today and could not get it fixed/flush. Those do not seem to be height adjusters. It seems i may have bent the plastic piece and bumper to the point where it wont sit flush now, because of this the cheap clips that the screws go into and hold the bumper down to the metal piece are not holding now. I dont see what else i can do but take it to the dealer and admit i ****ed up.

I do not recommend doing it this way.

Yep, took me about 30 secs to remove mine, just pryed behind it enough to pull it off by hand.

If you want to go through the hassle of pulling off the top cover, it's a lot easier to just push the tabs from the back and release it, but not necessary, especially if you have a replacement waiting to go on like I did. I tired to mask off and paint the gold bowtie black but after a few attempts it didn't come out good, so I stripped it off and it's just sitting in the garage

I agree. They should have put the Nee Camaro logo as the front and rear emblems. Would have been sweet!
