I consider it healthy banter. I don't get butt hurt when someone like's their car better, or pulls out some embellishments to make my car sound worse. It's all in fun and some of it is down right funny. This is just the way people communicate; in my old job if they didn't like you, you wouldn't have an insulting nickname. It's almost like some of you folks never played Foosball, oh the trash talk; you'd think your playing Ali!

After reading some of this thread I went over to the Camaro5 forum and read some of their posts. Mixed bag of pissed off people and normal guys enjoying their rides. I had a '13 2SS Auto and I enjoyed the hell out of it. The only reason I sold it was because it was an automatic, I wanted a manual transmission. I love a hotrod with a manual tranny........like I had back in the 60's. Everyone to their own, just leave each other alone and enjoy!!!

I just went over 4000 miles on my 6th Gen, around 3000 of them with the twin turbos and this is by far my favorite daily driver.....ever. I'm averaging about 20 mph and when I'm traveling on 2 lanes roads, I just never get stuck behind anyone slow. I have never had a car that can go from 50 to 100 and blow off a pass like this thing can do with a set of twins on it. It is rock stable yet smooth, quite, and getting better real gas mileage than the 2014 Hyundai Genesis coupe I traded in for it. It really is a great car. I'm thinking I'm going to have to change my signature because that is all about my toy, but I live in this car.

Not yet sold on the style(flat side-edge front fascia, smaller footprint). The ZL1 look is a step in the right direction, imo.
And I don't care for the new mustang style either.

There will always be folks at each other.

Pay no mind to them. I love the gen6 car and want to own one. The only problem I have right now is the quality issues they are having. The gen5 suffered from that too. I'm glad that you early buyers are taking one for the team so to speak, and hopefully they get the bugs worked out quickly.
Is it that bad over there? Guess I spend most of my time in the c6 section...

I make it a point to wave at ANY Camaro I see on the road because they are part of the Camaro family. I guess because we are a family we have to deal with the occasional "cranky aunt/uncle".

Anyone that says they are the same but with a different frame is ignorant.
Separate issue:
I had a 5th gen for 2 yrs and got two compliments on it. I am yet to go a week without a stranger approaching me to compliment my 6th gen.

For sure. Especially when neither even have a frame.

I was at a resent GM car show and the Only GEN 6 on the Lot. I had MANY Vette owners come over and tell me what a nice looking car the new Camaro was. The president of the Corvette Club even asked me to join them on their next Rally to the Veterans Home. WOW a Camaro invited to a Corvette Rally. Anyways my Plates says "MY6TH" it's my 6th Camaro and it's a 6th GEN. I owned 4 Gen 5's. SICK car! Now I'm enjoying the Gen6. I seen the hand writing on the wall when they decided to not have a Camaro Fest in 2016. Sadly I hope the newness hasn't worn off. Peace Brothers and Sisters. Camaro's are one Great Car.............................

anyone whop can honestly say the fifth gen and sixth gen are similar driving experiences is lying. I am a former 5th gen owner and it is not even close to the same. Night and Day difference.
