Yes. And I have said more than once it has to be a GOOD ad campaign. And I meant advertising in general, not just TV but we all know that TV/VIDEO is the most powerful forum of all.

We've seen some really stupid stuff over the years for sure. The dancing robots is one of them.

If you are convinced that ads do NOT help sales - and yes, it must be a good ad campaign - then you obviously know more than the ad agencies and the businesses both. You better go tell them.

You should research more before you post.
When did I say it would not improve it? How many examples out there of ad campaigns for failed products, companies, and ideas? How many other ideas have been brought up in this thread for reasons the Camaro is not doing well? How many ads were around for the 5th gen Camaro? How did that affect it's sells? You are over simplifying things if you believe an ad campaign alone is the only thing holding the Camaro back. You've changed your mind about what is several times in thread. What makes you think you know any better than me or anyone else on this forum. I've been civil but obviously you believe you know more than anyone here. So why bother posting? We are all inferior to your knowledge of marketing, this segment, the economy, and any other aspect that drives sells.

Post some proof or your opinion is no better than mine next time.

There's more proof the Hellcat is helping their sales. Again I'm not saying things don't need to change, but this fascination with TV spots leading to sales lacks any proof. If you can find some I'll be happy to change that opinion. But you don't sell 13k Mustangs, 9700 Camaros, and 7400 Challengers in April last year (which was peak for all 3 to date), months before any of these commercials came out and say there's a correlation.
There are billboards EVERYWHERE in SoCal for the Mustang. Also there are Mustangs EVERYWHERE in SoCal.

You just made my day my friend! I'm glad you agree that you need not bother posting and, that I am right!

To the non owner posters,

I'll make it easy. Chevrolet has been in business many years without your help and input, you are not the genius you think you are. It's so funny that most of the ones that post on this subject don't OWN a gen6, but feel they can tell those of us actual owners that our cars are not selling well. I have a great idea for this forum. There should be a sub forum for non gen6 owners to voice their opinions to other non owners, the rest of us can actually come here and discuss our cars/ideas with others that actually own the cars. I really hope they can make it possible

I want to congratulate you on something...I've been on this forum for a while, and several others..and this is one of the most arrogant, condescending, dismissive and snobbish posts I've seen in years.

If I was new to this forum and was thinking of getting a 6th Gen..this crap would really be unappealing. You're worse than thePill.

Thanks! I hope you are enjoying your gen6 as well. If I didn't own a gen6 but was interested in one, I would go to the gen6 forum to read what the actual owners think of thier car. All your negativity about the pricing and other gripes would not persuade anyone to buy a gen6. I just hope people listen to the actual owners with hands on experience of these wonderful cars.

We may really never know but nothing that they have said, at least publicly, has indicated that they are disappointed.

But, regardless, there are always going to be people that are butt hurt because there are more Mustangs sold.
Doesn't help the dealers much if sitting on the lots for 2 or 3 months gathering bird shidt.

I see the new Mustang as every bit an evolution of the previous car as the Camaro. It's very attractive but not a departure from the same look Ford has been emulating since 1968

No it doesn't. Can't speak for every area but like I said earlier, the 10 closest dealerships to me have 0-3 of every iteration of 6th Gen.

Not exactly busting at the seams with 6th Gens and I drove by 2 dealerships today that did not have any 6th Gens in site from the street.

My 15 GT reminded me of my 68 fastback. The long hood and the gauges were the selling point for me. I just hated the transmission and that floaty feeling

I can just imagine a commercial like that would have at least me thinking holy crap!

Motor Trend Car of the year flashes across the screen
0-60 in 4 seconds then flashes across the screen
Lighter...meaner...class leading handling and performance...

And then the video of a 6th Gen tearing up the pavement
