Corvette worked one of the two week summer break both last year and the year before, which model years were selling extremely well, but is not working either week this year, which is a time of lower sales compared to the mentioned two years.

On the other hand, in another section of this forum, there is a thread that indicates the new Camaro is not selling well at all.

All that to say I do not know the answer.

As to the body in white, the timing I am used to seeing, whether for the Sonic or the Corvette or any Chevrolet car in between, is from when the body and components enter paint to roll off. Also, about 12 hours from the marriage of the body to roll off, which includes the 4 to 4.5 hours from beginning Final Trim to roll off.

But I have a potentially dumb question. I thought I read/heard that it takes like 2 or 3 days for a Camaro to be produced. Is it possible that our cars were started yesterday, but the codes didn't change because they aren't finished yet? Code 3800 is "Car PRODUCED" not "car is being produced"

I got the reference lol. It is frustrating. But at least we know they are running and this week is our week.

I was wondering what the start to finish time was. This makes sense on why none of us at 3800 today.

Hoping tomorrow is a different story.

The "Camaro Pool" was still fun to see how many of us in here have that TWP and see the order numbers together. Too bad it does not mesh with Bekcy's current process.

While it does not work for Becky, I think we may want to keep it in here as an overview for all of us to see by adding a 3800 to the end once someone gets built. Then we know who to pull for and we see the progress of the builds. I think it is great to see the 19+ of us and our progress in a single view.

Just an idea that that party bus may still have some use. If we abandon, that's OK too. I can always go sleep in Seawolf's tent or do laundry while we wait ...

I agree was neat to see all together. I might take up this endeavor.

And to join the tent gotta bring something to the table. Seawolf brought the tent. I brought entertainment and snacks. Becky is cooking for us.

If you don't know who Hyperblue16vert is, then you need to ask him why he has a pre-production black glow tie on his car and his profile says UAW/GM Employee. I watched him go through his QC issues to get his car. He knows his stuff. I will reset my expectations - probably no VINs til Wed at the earliest.

Him, Laborsmith, and Becky are a great resource here. And yeah kinda jealous of his black glowtie. I'm getting the gold one.
