But I have a potentially dumb question. I thought I read/heard that it takes like 2 or 3 days for a Camaro to be produced. Is it possible that our cars were started yesterday, but the codes didn't change because they aren't finished yet? Code 3800 is "Car PRODUCED" not "car is being produced"

Yes, entirely possible. I did think some would start Friday, and maybe they did but not in time to roll off yesterday.

The car industry takes about 22 hours from paint to roll off.

Thank you for the response. 22 hours from paint to roll off, but there's also the stages before the paint where they have to construct and assemble the "body in white" which is also included for our build processes, correct?

Another question for you, you apparently have mentioned in another thread that there will only be a 1 week shutdown instead of a 2 week one. Is there any particular reason for this? Is supply having a hard time keeping up with demand?
