Seems like you are after a badge that is represented by an animal? Animals are easier recognizable.

Nope. Needs to be the bow tie for being a Chevy first. Then you can have either a script Camaro, a block Camaro or a tri shield which doesn't signify Camaro to anyone that doesn't already know what a Camaro is.

A running horse has been Mustang from the beginning. Don't be jealous.

Oh and I hate to burst your bubble but when the Gen 5 came out I had all kinds of people thinking it was a Ferrari or other exotic car. That isn't new to the Gen6, particularly since one of its biggest drawbacks is..........it looks like a Gen5.

Keep the bow tie on it.
I specifically made sure to get a 2016 SS since on the 2017 Camaro the bottom of the steering wheel has Fifty on it instead of SS.
I don't want any anniversary badges on my ride.
But I do want my bow tie on it!

Never said I was jealous just pointing out a fact... And I'm not only talking about the looks if you look back at my OP I clearly mention the performance. That's why this car is being compared to the m4 and not the mustang like the gen 5. This car is in a different league. But if you want to be condescending on a forum more power to you. It was a simple discussion topic.

GM on the other hand has Corvette. Which is why no matter how good Camaro gets, it'll always be "just a Camaro." People save up their entire lives to retire and buy a Corvette, not a Camaro. Plus, you won't see factory Camaro racing teams racing Ferrari and Porsche in IMSA. You won't see a Camaro at LeMans.

In the grand scheme of things, Camaro just isn't THAT special of a car. An amazing performance coupe for sure, but not on the level of Corvette.
You have a point with LeMans.... I guess we just differ in opinion with the "just a Camaro" factor. But you make some valid points.

A bunch of monte carlo's somehow escaped them. The bow tie looks stupid. A modern version of the forth gen camaro nose badge would look good though with the smaller bow tie below the 3 bar.

I like the minimalist look. No bow ties, no fender emblems, and no weirdly placed SS badges. I hate the trend on new cars with fake vents on the fenders. And the 5th gen gills. Glad they removed those.

I agree, but someone that doesn't own one would never understand. Don't waste your time trying to explain your posts, it's pointless to those jealous posters.

Also the Mustang emblem is nothing to be jealous of, just look at the reasoning behind it. The horse is running because when they can no longer run, they are shot, just like the cars.
