I'm just going to wait until the end of the year to take mine in. Recalls just keep popping up. I'm sure there will be a dozen more before the year is over with...

Yeah, I just took my '15 Colorado in for the first time (after 16 months) and had 5 they had to deal with. All minor issues, but got em done in one visit..

Tpw: 12/21, vin 135063, julian dc 303 15. I checked the toe links good and didnt see any cracks but will probably take it to dealer for inspection. Just hope if they need replacement the dealer is competent in alignment for these cars.

Our TR007 Toe Rods are the bee's knees.

Those definitely will not be failing - and the lock out plates make them even more advantageous.

Took mine in. Car is down for at least a week. Bummer. Have a nice new Buick to drive in the meantime.

Dealer says don't drive it

We're not talking about a Chevy Cruze. We're talking about a high performance sports care. I can just imagine when it "fails in the field" and someone gets hurt or killed...
Advised by dealer not to drive it until repaired

Huh! So I have 303 15, this is one of the ones which is prone to cracking.

But! When inspected they said I have no cracks.

So they did nothing, and said they only replace if it's cracked.

Is this something that could fail at any time? I'm taking a 3,000 mile drive with my wife soon, I really don't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with a floppy tire.

What would you do?

I had mine replaced today and asked to see the cracked ones. Looked at them under a LED light and could hardly see them. But they were there. Best to have it checked out.

Had mine checked out but there were no cracks, I'll probably have them looked at again when I go in for my second free service visit just to be safe

It is my understanding and confirmed by the dealer that the crscks occurred when the grommets were pressed in. The cracks I saw were on the outer edges of the link. Good idea to have it checked again.

Oh really? I'll definitely have it looked at again by another dealer then. I checked it out myself and didn't see anything and the dealer said the same.

I wonder if anyone else with the same dates stamped were ok with theirs or not
