The owner's manual does not give a time limit like it does for the other two. It only tells how to shut it off when you are done. So I am assuming it lasts until you tell it to stop.

Guys, I have confirmed that the Service Mode lasts until it is turned off. Went to the drive-in theater and watched The Jungle Book without the radio turning off.

YES!!! Service mode works. Just have to turn all the lights off. The Bose sound system is awesome!!! Darn near drained the battery during Barman vs Superman. The sound track for the movie is great through fm radio. Best Bose system I have had.
