Les,

You are one of the closest members of the forum to me...(I'm in Carmel)... And I can tell you're going to influence me to to crazy things to this car! Good luck with the build looking forward to your impressions, as I am considering everything you're doing! Gonna order up the headers this week. Trying to stay away from Teds shop cause I have a feeling a Maggie is in my future....

Not to rain on your build but I wish he would respond to the post he started back in Feb as to his opinions and observations. Curious minds want to know. Again, good luck an perhaps you will keep us informed.
Yeah, I know what you mean, no worries. He told me had an injury and some family stuff to deal with. He seems like an honest guy, but I can't say for sure if any of that is true. I believe him though. When I first went there it was early spring and that's when shops around here get the busiest. He also lets one of his former employees who has his own shop use his dyno. It's the only one around here - at least the only one run by anyone competent. I've known that the guy used Ted's dyno years before I even knew Ted. He's telling me I'll be around 550rwhp. That's in line with what I'm seeing everywhere. Take a look at these other links:

http://www.domesticboost.com/content...power-at-6-psi

http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...-stock-c7.html

I'm pretty sure he's using HP Tuners this time around btw, and everyone I've talked to says the Heartbeat is a straightforward install. The AR 1 7/8" headers I've heard are very well done and simple as well. A lot of places have done this already on the gen6, including LPE (who posted a time lapsed video of the process here).

I went for a test drive in Ted's car and the power is instant and in all gears. It's also completely silent, which is really cool. His car did throw a code when we first got in, but I honestly think he hasn't had a lot of time to spend on it, since it's not a paying customer's car. Ted knows I post here and I'm sure he knows this is a chance to showcase this build. We'll see though. If anyone told you they weren't nervous doing what I'm doing, they'd be lying I'll pop over there one day next week to see what's going on and report back. They just had their open house Saturday but I was busy all weekend.

Edit - Here's a slip I found online from someone with an SS (automatic I think), just running a Heartbeat @6psi with everything else stock - except tires...10.877/128mph is pretty damn good

A little update on your build, We installed the ARH 1 7/8 LT coated headers and exhaust back to your NPP Muffler and it sounds and performs Great.

Put it on the dyno and got you 20 RWHP and 20 RWTQ with only turning off the codes for the Headers no tuning.

The supercharger tune is happening right now

As far as my car goes, Feb/March has been rough to find time to Play, I was injured when I slipped and fell on the ice, then followed that with a Death in the family, Been extremely busy, and getting ready for our recent open house and now drag day.

I also have Race teams and other shops that have been renting the dyno this past month tying it up.

I have been driving the car evaluating the Magnuson tune and it has been great, Absolutely the best supercharger kit I have installed to date.

I have been giving rides in the car and that puts a smile on peoples faces and making my tires sad LOL.

I have been showcasing the car when ever we can find time.

I will get in on the dyno and post some numbers with the Magnuson tune and a custom tuned version, I am sorry things just didn't come together as planned.

Ted.

I guess that means no one got drunk and grenaded it on the dyno at the Open house LOL. Thank man, I can't wait to see it. Driving this Charger around really sucks right now

Huge thank you to Ted and his team for an amazing job. It screams. The exhaust note is so nasty with these headers. They even got everything completed for me today so I could enjoy it on a long road trip to MA this weekend, and still connected my Mishi catch can with a custom bracket.

Here are my final numbers - 563 RWHP 544 RWTQ. Super smooth, no codes, everything works just as it before, no funny smells...just big smiles. The headers alone gained 20rwhp prior to adding the Maggie. I've got friends over so I can't hang out here too long, but I've got all my dyno sheets that and can post them when I get back from MA.

Great curves Les! The headers seem to add nicely to car, I normally need at least 1psi more boost than you have to make 550RWTQ... Your also within 12 HP of my C7Z06 with 3-4 PSI less boost - very nice!
