Pezbot and Hyperblue, I'm pulling for you guys. I hope they move from purgatory soon. They should be perfect when they arrive given the time in "review". I hope you see a 4200 status soon.

So I was lucky enough to pick up my new ride at the dealership last night!

The roads here are a mess because of the rain, but I'll get it cleaned up this weekend and post some pics.

Unfortunately, I've already noticed an issue I'm not thrilled about. There's a joint in the convertible top next to each front seat. The one on the driver's side looks tight and aligned well, but the one on the passenger side looks out of joint. The plastic trim does not join up correctly. Not able to post a photo right at the moment, but I'll definitely be asking the dealership about that.

Keeping my hopes up for those other verts still awaiting shipment!!!

Hello Driski,

We hope you are enjoying your new Camaro so far despite the squeak and door concerns. We would be happy to add an extra layer of support when you bring your vehicle back to the dealership. Feel free to send us a private message when you’re ready to have your Camaro diagnosed.

I wish I was enjoying my new camaro.....

Being a GM employee, I am truly embarrassed by length of time and poor explanations of why it has been almost nine weeks to get my car!

Only 70 miles from the assembly plant.....

When I called Chevy customer service, they couldn't provide any more information or help me in any way.

What a joke!

One thing about GM: it never officially admits a specific issue that is behind a general hold. Otherwise all those October build customers would know the details as to why their builds took so long to be delivered.

Hey gang -- just posted this over in the photo forum and thought I would ask the other vert owners in this thread who have taken delivery. What do you think, and do you notice these at all?

Hey, Thanks for checking in. The door lock was corrected by my local dealer and the squeak will be looked at by the dealer I purchased the car at in a couple weeks (Quirk, Braintree MA). The car is perfect otherwise and my wife are I am loving it.

My local dealer found the 2016 vert I wanted - nearly with every option I was trying for, plus others I wasn't going to order originally. It's 250 miles away & been sitting on the lot for 2 weeks - the local dealer said they looked in an 800mile range & this was the only one available.

He had it secured for me in 24 hours. They're getting it today; but they have to DRIVE it the 250 miles back because they're basically swapping cars with the other dealer. Warranty will be adjusted to reflect the mileage.

I'm just glad I got one at this point!
