OCD so get over it, or inquire at the dealer?

Wanted to get some opinions of others on two issues I've noticed with my new convertible. The first is the fact that the satellite antenna cover on the trunk is not straight. As you can tell in the photo, it angles to the right. It's more noticeable in person, and it's obvious when looking in the rearview mirror. Is this an easy fix at the dealership, or am I risking them messing up the paint or other components and I should just get over it?

The second also relates to the convertible, this time it's the top. When the top is closed, the plastic components at the joint over the passenger door aren't aligned cleanly like over the driver's door. Again, just get over it or ask the dealer to try and address?

I would discuss it with your dealer, that's what they are there for. It's quite likely there's an adjustment procedure for the roof that can resolve that issue. If the dealer can't or won't help call Chevy customer service.

You paid too much to accept these quality issues, it's not OCD IMHO.

Definitely have them look at it, tough if they don't like it. When I brought my car in the other day I insisted my car stay inside the garage at all times, they looked at me like I had 10 heads, but oh well. My SS is a $50k car that I take very good care of. Nothing is ever a bother, it is called customer service, and like what was said above, if they don't want to help go elswhere or contact Chevy CS.

Exactly, If they are bothered with it then they should choose another line of business.

The deal on the car we're taking delivery of tomorrow was made last weekend so they had all week to get it ready. There was a small ding on the passenger door (no paint damage) that their "dent guy" needed to fix so I sent an email to the salesman confirming the dent repair would get done as well as the proper PDI as per the special instructions that are part of the Camaro PDI form.

He replied later that day that the dent had been repaired perfectly, the proper PDI was performed along with Android Auto update, the track brake ducts were in the trunk and even went do far as to record all the tire pressures to see if I wanted them different.

I didn't feel bad letting him know my expectations for tomorrow and he had no problem checking things off my checklist.

Don't be timid but don't be aggressive ether. Just keep a level head and have a normal, adult conversation with the service department and everything should be fine. Just don't let them railroad you, neither of these are "normal" and both are "fixable".

Okay, I appreciate the "backup" guys! Dealer will probably be very good about it, just appreciate the opinions of others.

I would give the dealer the chance to do right by you. I know how you feel as I am totally OCD with my car.
The shark fin could be applied with the same adhesive as the emblems and that shouldn't be a big production for them to fix. My concern is the alignment of the top. Having gone through that whole mess of the 2011-2013 convertible top "recall" I'd be worried that it would wear the canvas irregularly. Get it adjusted right away.

The dealership I bought my car from know me well. Just about everyone working there knows me by name. I expect excellence, especially when I drop close to $50K on a car.

Well, this morning I confirmed what I thought I heard earlier this week: I damn screw (or something similar) rolling around above my head inside the closed top! I swore I was hearing things earlier in the week, but this morning I am certain. What the hell?!?!

Dealers trying to fix/adjust a vert roof?

THAT was the problem with the 12-13's! NONE of the dealers knew how to fix them, they just kept making things worse because they were doing the "repairs" incorrectly. GM had better have several teams of specialty technicians on standby at all times.
