No to ordering 1LE at present. It could be an overlook but if not, then no,

Pricing is an after the first few order cycles thing and the Chevy on-line configurator with pricing will not become active until after the start of regular production.

I am the only one upset by this? I think its such a rich color, but then again i've never seen one on on the street or on a lot locally so maybe its just me and a small number of others who liked it.

according to GM, you are the minority. People may be disappointed by losing the color, but it likely wont have much, if any impact on sales, not like if they'd pulled yellow or garnet red

I'm with you. I love that color, and am sad that it is going away.

Did you ask your dealer? My date (today) is my guess based on observing the ordering system but I am an outside looking in observer and not a part of the industry.

I called my salesman today and left a voicemail at about 1:30 p.m., it's now almost 8 and no return call, maybe he's off?

Laborsmith

It was a serious question. Even though you're on the outside looking in, it sounds like you're still more knowledgeable than any dealer I've spoken to around here.

No you can not order the 1LE package as it is not in the ordering guide. Although Chevy has strongly indicated it will be available this coming model year they have not said when.

A minor technicality to be sure, but also an insurmountable one.

Hello Everyone

I'm new to this Forum and this is my first post. Kinda stumbled upon the 2016 Camaro and will be ordering a 2017 when the open up ordering. I took a spin in a 2016 automatic and enjoyed the car. I sat down briefly with the salesman and we went through what I wanted to order and he turned the computer screen so I could see everything including MSRP and the Invoice. I was told I would get the car at Invoice (I know someone who I go to the gym with who's dad owns the dealership so apparently he told the salesman to give it to me at invoice).

Is that a good deal? It will be a 2ss coupe.

Thanks.

I talked to Chevrolet chat last night and they said you can order a 2017 (I specified a 2SS). My salesman called me back today and said they tried it and it wouldn't let them yet but maybe in a few days.

Take it for what it's worth, as I'm no car buying expert, but the word "invoice" seems to get thrown around alot. My understanding is the invoice a dealer tells you about is not what they pay. I've also seen people use the term "invoice" but they mean MSRP.

I won't know the answer either way, but you may want to give the forum members the MSRP for the build you want then give them the price the dealer gave you.
