Stratt sent me a picture of the settings page that shows Android Auto and the software version page that shows 84089010. Mine shows the identical software version but In settings it lists Apple Carplay and then Voice. It should say Android Auto in between the two. Im going to ask for a reflash.

I stopped using Android Auto.
Too cumbersome to setup every time.
Have to put phone app on, Pandora app on, acknowledge stuff etc.
It does work somewhat, but often call comes in and they can't hear me.
Voice command does absolutely nothing.
Then it remains unresponsive to any button pushed until you take it out of voice recognition mode.
Laggy software. Not ready for prime time yet.

Just using regular Bluetooth phone connection, so much easier.

Looooove my car though

I just asked the dealership if they could do the update on my system, the service department made us an appointment but shortly after called again and said that they don't have the update yet. I'm thinking that all the dealerships should have this update available but maybe I'm wrong? Would I be charged if I went to a different dealership to get the update?

What phone? Using a Nexus 6, and think it works fine. Just plug it in, and hit the icon on radio.....done. Seems simple enough. I don't use it all the time, but for nav, Google maps can't be beat!

It might be true. I know some dealerships can do it and some are having trouble because the file is to large for their network. No matter where you go the update is free. My dealership is putting in a new dedicated system linked only to GM.

Yes, I am currently at the dealership for the update and I am going on 2 hours for the update. They said it is somewhere in the range of 5Gb. If this is the case and they knew it, they should have downloaded it before I arrived. The transfer on the car shouldn't be 2 hours long. The reason they are having the lengthy download is lack of bandwidth at their shop.

I am hoping these dealers are not downloading the file each and every time, I hope they are smart enough to figure out to save it to some sort of USB device...but then again we are talking about dealerships here! lol.

Some of them start the download and than it times out so they have to start over. If my dealership can't do it by the end of the month I found a dealership that can and has done a friend of mine already. He said he loves it and it works perfectly! Hope you get it upgraded today. Good luck
