I have to admit waiting sucks even if I couldn't drive it at least I'd know where it was!!! I'd have bought off the lot if I could have found what I wanted. Ordered 12/21/2015 and still no TPW?

Just ordered my 2SS Hyper Blue today from a smaller dealer and was told 8-12 weeks give or take. We'll see.

I told him "Well I would like to give you good reviews on the survey when the car is delivered, so I just want a lot of communication"

He still seemed very hesitant, what should I do?
You should ask to speak with the Sales Manager that is in charge of placing orders in the system and tell them that you want a copy of the "Order Workbench" and tell them that if they are not willing to give you a copy of the Order Workbench then you are going to cancel you're order. There is no reason they should hold back the Order Workbench from you unless they are just trying to hide something from you. You need a copy of the Order Workbench for two reasons, one to double check that they put the order in right and so you have you're order number. From reading you're posts I would have personally already walked away and called Becky but if you are sure about sticking with them then I would say getting a copy of the Order Workbench is imperative!!

It is very sad the way some dealers do business thees days!! Has you're order gotten past 1100 yet? If not I would be giving Becky a call and order from her.

They already have my trade in, so I'm stuck with them.

Ouch, yeah sorry to hear about that, I guess the best you can do now is get a copy of the Order Workbench and hope it gets past 1100 before to long. I'd be raising hell and be demanding more communication and some kind of compensation on my deal for the lack of honest and upfront info about when the order would actually be accepted by GM.

I ordered my Camaro on 28 Dec and the dealer informed me the other week that my car will go into production 01Feb so 7-8 weeks sounds reasonable.

There are orders before and a few days after yours that still don't have a TPW. I would verify that myself if I were you

I sent the wrong description), but we caught it before it even went to allocation.

You say you're checking status yourself. Unless you're seeing these workbench reports, what are you using for the status?

Trust, but verify.

(and, I'm constantly reminded how fortunate I was to see Becky's influence here... )
As it turns out, the paperwork I have has "OrderWORKBENCH" as the header. This document accurately reflects what I ordered. That is a relief! Before I realized that I already had an OrderWORKBENCH, I had contacted my sales person and asked him for a copy of the Order Workbench. It will be interesting to what he sends me. BTW - my order is still at 1100, a month to the day after this OrderWORKBENCH is dated.
