Keeping mine out, too. They are throwing salt down tonight but one rainstorm will wash most of that away. I certainly won't be driving it for the next few days.

I had my '69 out for a Christmas day cruise, for the first time ever, in almost 25 years of owning it

We got our first snow of the year here last night. Only about an inch and it was more
like frozen rain than snow. Now nice sunny weather expected for the next 10 days per weather.com I'll take it.

10 days of sun should bring you right to your exit date to sunny Florida, Nice.

gas, tolls, wear and tear, etc makes it impossible not to fly. Round trip airfare @ $350.00 plus I have a car waiting. Kind of a no-brainer but I will miss the Camaro.

Cars are meant to be driven & enjoyed. No better way to enjoy your toy than a nice long road trip. Also, the car would probably get less "wear & tear" on a long highway road trip, than it would normally get driving around town for just a quarter of the mileage. Anyway.... Have fun on your vacation!

I was only talking from a "dollar & sense" aspect. I've been on trips to So Florida, Valdosta Ga, Indy iii, Canada Homecoming, several trips to Annapolis Md, etc in my Camaro. And unlike many here I don't store my Camaro Winters like so many others........ Believe me I'm not saving my Camaro for anyone.

Cash definitely sounds like much more of a reason to hold up on a trip. That sounds like you definitely enjoy it, and since you originally asked me before you deleted it my '69 with a somewhat radical big block with no OD, no A/C, no creature comforts at all, or even any carpet inside, is pretty much my long roadtrip car.
In 1999 I took it on a few legs of the HRPT, from MA to MD, while having dual quads and 3:73 gears in the rear. The car only got 6MPG, but that didn't stop me. The lack of radio didn't make me hesitate either. Now that it gets almost 10MPG, I try to take it on the Northeast Rod Run's cruise every year. That trip is usually worth about 1000 miles round trip for me, so yes I love driving too. Where you really do drive your car, you should check out this year's NERR trip and maybe try to jump in for a bit. Keep on cruising.

Another 1,000 miles sounds like fun now if only C5 would decide if, when and where C5Fest is happening this year i could plan everything easier.

Would be a good chunk less for you because the first and last stops are both in NH

Had my '69 out for a bit today. Just made sure I refilled the tank and treated the gas before putting it away again
