Are you talking factory only options or factory and dealer install options? also would decals count?. I don't think they have every LPO on the builder site for the 2016 Camaro so you might have to track some things down on these forums to get prices for them. If you are looking at only sustenance factory options then the highest would be based on the builder.... $47,790 (that is no decals or other dress up items and no dealer installed options and no premium color options).

If you start adding things like wheels and brake kits then you can easily break $50,000 mark.....

I think the one thing GM got right is they have a bunch of things to add on cost that people actually want.

For $47k-$50k you get a lot of car for the money. In relative terms, the 2016 camaro is quite a steal.

Mine was stickered at $49,605, walked out paying 47,500 ish after military discount. Only had to pay 35 bucks for tags and title for Montana, and of course no sales tax! I think the only major thing i did not pick was the brakes.

$53,600 MSRP without splash guards, black wheel center caps, and front splitter. I'm pretty sure that's called "fully loaded".

Thanks, I didn't know the 6 piston brakes were dealer installed.

To the guy that went with Montana registration, did you do that intentionally to avoid the tax and higher fees or do you really live there? I only ask because it says VA in your signature. I've heard of people doing this that buy exotics and there are lawyers out there that help get you set up. It could present a problem if you ever get into an accident and have to file a claim.

I always wondered why dealers always ordered well optioned cars, it's because people will literally check every box regardless of high the price is.

The base car has a profit margin, every option also has a profit margin associated with it. So selling a vehicle with more options can add thousands of dollars of profits to the dealer, if you are a dealer living in an area where people have more money to spend why wouldn't you only order $50,000 Camaro SS?. So what if some potential customers might walk in looking to buy an SS Camaro with a hard budget limit of $40,000.....

So the car will ship on the standard 20" wheels. You didn't put down a $1000 core deposit (your original wheels) and then pay another $2000 for 56F. Also, your window sticker will display 2 sets of wheels.....

I have a chat between myself and GM customer service saved, along with messages between myself and BeckyD that confirm my suspicions about the originals going back to the buyer. I've got a set of rims, 2 rotors, 2 calipers and the original kneepads sitting in my garage as proof.
With the 6 piston brembos installed by dealer...do they change the other brake components as well...ie brake lines?

I believe the gt350 is done at the factory, but they do sell that car as a wonderful track monster, the regular gt is grand touring, the gt500 is advertised as a highway shredder and what they are advertising for 2017 the svt halo mustang pushing 740+ hp will make anyone drool and I'm a chevy guy,lol
