It is taking a long time, and it does suck. There is a lack of transparency, but GM has to act this way to protect their investment in the product. They aren't going to shout they had a problem from the rooftops, even though we all know, at this point, that they have.

With that said, as an early orderer, they made all attempts to get your car built first, and they did. Unfortunately, something seems to have come up as a defective build on a few weeks, and they have to fix these cars. It isn't GM's intent to anger anybody. They want you as a customer - a happy customer.

There is always the fear of first run cars having problems. We rolled those dice. It is better they fix their issues now before they're titled vehicles, and not after they're titled vehicles that will be brand new 2016 Camaros going in for service mulitple times. That's just terrible PR, and not good for the Camaro community. GM isn't going to shut down their lines and stop their employees from doing what they're supposed to do because they have a lot full of cars being repaired by specialists. That just makes no sense at all.

We are all frustrated, but that's the way it has to be. You can always back out of your deal and buy one sitting on a lot, or even re-order. I don't think anyone would blame you for doing so. It will all be done soon.

Is anyone else getting nervous about the condition these cars will be in after whatever fixes that are going on right now? I don't want to drop this amount of money and end up with a car that has constant issues. I can't be the only one with this concern can I?

This is exactly what I'm frustrated about. Those of us who made it a point to go order our cars early, the extremely passionate fans, haven't even gotten our cars whereas any regular person could waltz down to a dealer and buy one right now. Not to mention the terrible communication. Oh wait, they haven't communicated to us at all...

Mines been built since 10/14, still sitting there. I was the first order at my Dealer, first allocation accepted, first car built. 4 others ordered after mine are in transit, mine sits. Vented on FaceBook and Chevrolet customer care responded, man they really think we're stupid.
My dealer has been awesome, Courtesy Chevrolet Rocks. Chevrolet not so much. I'm actually thinking of walking away from this order. Looking to see if I can get a comparable deal on a similar car now. I've driven one already and I think its an awesome car but I think I'm kind of over it and may go in another direction. I will have a new toy by the end of the year, may not be a Chevy thanks to the way Chevy has handled this.
My 5th Gen experience was awesome, first order, first allocation, first built and first ABM delivered in SoCal. I was looking for the same experience, Chevy has disappointed me this time in a big way. My dealer has been tracking, doing online chats with Chevy 3 times a week and keeping me updated.
Chevy's rollout of the 6th Gen is a joke.

I would love to know if my car will arrive before Christmas. At this point I have zero faith in GM and the transit company they hired to deliver our cars.

I have been looking for a car like mine, but have yet to find it. If I did find it, I would go get it. I am getting tired of being without a car.

I had a TPW of 10/5, built 10/15 (according to the status updates) just recently moved to a holding lot and Bayed......

Also, it'seems clear GM is aware of our frustration and has provided guidance to their CS staff to give us no more info. They instantly shutdown and give us no details. My dealer tells me to call them and they tell us to call our dealer.

Haha I'm a order at Courtesy Chevrolet too.. I was second I believe, the first being a Hyper Blue 2SS... I think. Are you that one? The dealership accidentally gave me the order info for that one last week. They saw an ETA of 12/10, so said they can expect it by 12/17, if that helps you feel any better. Mine was produced TPW 10/19 and no sign of it anywhere either...

You dont get it do you, some of use Ordered the car sight unseen, from that time did see it, you call it "every bitch post" I call it letting the manufacturer know how we fell used, and how they can improve there delivery of cars to us bitch posters, if you dont like that we let them know move on to where you like to hang.

Exactly as Gen5diy said, this is a way of letting GM know how unacceptable this is, especially with how apathetic they have been towards the core enthusiasts. You make us out to sound like we're entitled. We aren't. We have followed this car closely for up to 2+ years, and we are paying a large amount of money for it, so we expect to be treated well. That's just good business practice.

I feel that you guys do have the right to voice your frustration. You're willing to spend between 30k-55k for a vehicle and the lack information given to you all is very bad customer service. I personally would like to know what's the hold up and has anyone with an October TPW received their vehicle?
