Mid 12s in the 1/4 with the A8. So faster than the Mustangs, slower than the Camaro. Handling not as good as the Mustang PP cars.

This.

485 horsepower, 475 ft lbs.

Most people are pulling mid 12's on the stock tires, with plenty of people running 12.2's on upgraded tires (non slicks)

Thanks for the (mostly) positive comments everyone.

The scat pack is truly a special machine dude. So congrats, enjoy it. I am considering one myself.

The thing is built to cruise in comfort and kill it on the strip if you choose to take it there. It's a different animal than the track carver meta camaro and mustang and most mopar guys like it that way.

Hope you'll post some more pics of it! It looks fantastic

Love this car. I'm here because I really like the Camaro, but I know that a SRT 392 is the next ride, with a Camaro after that (if my wife doesn't kill me).

Congrats, still think you would have been better off in a Camaro. I'm bias so don't listen to me.

Should have demanded $5K off. Obviously, you made their day only asking foe $3K.

Huh. Chrysler affliate pricing is marked at 1% below invoice. For a fully loaded ScatPack charger, MSRP is 47260 and affiliate is is 45037.

A $5k discount would put the price of the vehicle well below dealer invoice, and perhaps even lower than dealer price.

IMHO, $3k under MSRP is a great deal (for a new Challenger), considering that's probably around $500 under invoice.

Oh wait, this isn't for a new model year, this is for an outgoing 2015? I think a larger discount could have been had.

Some guy on the SP forums just got over $4k off a Charger SP fully loaded. The invoice price we see is still significantly above actual dealer cost. $3k off is still a good deal.

Dude, ignore these people. You got a fair price on a great cat and you walked away from a deal on principal. Free market in action.....

Nice car, I always liked the refreshed Challengers, just with they were a little smaller and lighter.

Since some were talking about Mopar people: For the most part the Mopar folks are laid back and cool. Only issue I have with some of the modern Mopar guys is they are the "ricers" of the modern muscle groups when it comes to modding their cars. At all the shows/cruises I go to, they are always the ones with the colored glow rings in all their lights, huge Mopar or SRT stickers all over their cars, and things of that nature.

The scat pack may not be the track carver, but that's relative. This thing will hold its own on the track against most cars on the road and its capabilities exceed the ability of most of its drivers. And its BAD ASS all around.

The ONLY reason I am not going for one is because the mpg is still crappy and needs to improve. I think one day we will once again see $4+/gallon gas.

Of course it's all relative. My point being that in terms of class, it's not nearly as capable on the track as it's direct competitors (which is OK).

Relatively, the camaro and mustang are trash compared to the McLarens on the track, but it also doesn't really make sense to compare them.
