GForce,

My car is reported to be in Troy, MI, too. I wonder if it's sitting near yours, lol. I went to Google Earth, and the business fronting Maple Rd. where the cars are parked is Penske Vehicle Services. Someone's also tagged the location as Alternative Automotive Technologies (a subdivision of Penske.) They're listed as an auto body shop. Their website says, "Our 183,000 Square Foot Facility accommodates 1,200 vehicles for large projects."

Their services are listed here: http://www.penskevehicleservices.com/services I imagine that they're a "fix-it" company for the local auto industry. I guess there was something inherently manufactured wrong in our early cars, and the professionals at Penske Vehicle Services have been contracted to "fix-it." So sad...

I bet our Camaros are lined up getting work done like this inside the Penske facility... (...from the Penske facility site in Troy, MI.)

I wanted to do this as I was getting frustrated like every one of us but my sales guy kept giving me random excuses on how they just couldn't do it... "Didn't feel comfortable draining the battery" "Didn't feel comfortable enough to start the warranty and onstar/xm trail starting early" etc haha. Hell, I even called OnStar but they said my dealership is the only place that can activate it.

I think you naild it, Nice investigating, are you a P.I.? Maybe you should be lol I'd love to see a current pic inside there with the Camaro's all lined up, I'd say GM would have someones head if one got released tho lol Sucks for all the early builds out there, but it seems like they are starting to slowly work there way out little by little now, better to have a car built right than a defective one I guess

I got my dealer to do it about 10 days ago and still can't track my car. If its been sitting for a long time it'll go to sleep. I'll probably get a heads up as soon as it moves though so it's not a complete waste.

If mines in a car and thats the reason it's not reachable I won't be able to track it until its 10 miles from the dealer.

I'd be fine if I opened the app one morning and saw it there. The ETA on the invoice was 12/2 and that's starting to look like its not going to happen.
