At least somebody's order is getting delivered...
I've mentioned it a few times here, but I'll mention the story again.
Waayyyy back in July, when I placed the order for the Camaro, I told my dad about it, and pretty much haven't shut up about it since. Well, my dad has been wanting a muscle sedan for a while. He and his wife loved my 2011 Charger R/T, and he has been waiting for Hellcat availability for a while, but, after hearing me gush about my new vehicle, eventually gave up on that and decided to get a ScatPack. So he orders one, mid October, about the time my Camaro is being built. His production week was 11/9, which actually is later than it would have been, this is the first week they did production on the limited paint color, Plum Crazy Purple. Well, yesterday he got a call from the dealer, saying its in town. And at this moment, he's picking it up now: Lucky. What a sweet ride. When it comes to 4-door muscle, I'm going to say this beats all, save for a Hellcat Charger. And even compared to the 2016 Camaro, this wins in luxury features. (Sorry, dad, straight-line performance, while extremely impressive, will likely lose to my Camaro. He's not sad about that, he still has the 500hp+ blown Challenger that we've built over the past few years.) Also, the Charger wins because he actually has it, it actually exists. Unlike my vaporware vehicle. Anyway, just thought I'd share, I know some folks here hate all vehicles unless it says "Camaro" on it, but there are some actual car lovers here who can appreciate a new modern muscle.

I was just talking about one of these with my wife earlier when one passed us on the highway. If we were ever in the market for a fast, 4dr car- the Charger woukd get the nod. I love the looks of these cars! Congrats to Pops.

I like the Charger, but I feel like although the front and rear have improved a lot over iterations, the greenhouse still looks something out of the early 2000's. It just looks out of place since this is an extremely old car with a lot of face lifting. I hope they ditch the platform soon and create a more modern looking car.

Nice car! But for 4-door "muscle" The CTSV all day. Although I don't know if Cadillac can be considered muscle, it's def 4 doors.

For 4 door muscle, one MUST consider the Chevy SS.
Especially now that it's available with a manual trans.

I know I'm looking hard at the Charger SP now. Ultimately it will come down to price for me, since both the Camaro and SP offer so much value. If I had any real desire to track it, it would have to be the Camaro though. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

None of the scat packs are direct injection. Caddy is for sure muscle with the v sport and v series

The LS3 is good for 415 hp. The SS weighs less than the Charger (about 440 lbs). The SS is available with a manual trans. The SS will have better build quality. The SS will clean the Charger's clock on a road course. The SS is just barely slower than a Charger SRT-8 (12.9 vs 12.6). The SS has better balance & poise. It's not even a question. The SS is a far superior car to the Charger.
