You are more than welcome and thank you. I will do some other videos in the future, like start up and pull videos (gotta wait till break in is DONE for pull vids though, I am a smidge above 1/3 done with 1500 miles lol).

I just got back from a night cruise, man... I LOVE THIS CAR!!! I haven't even gone above 4k rpm yet and I cannot wait to do it, car is BEGGING for more...

Break in is becoming brutal for me... The car is begging for more and wanting me to gun it all the time... I am slowly learning to really control the car even better after tossing the ass out, it is just too much fun NOT to haha

What I am doing is:

http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=427474

The only "challanging" part is: Avoid driving at any one constant speed, fast or slow. I still have to get on the highway to go anywhere so I am just switching between 4th, 5th and 6th gear with varying speeds. Non highway it is really easy to do so. They basically want you to drive in city through the break in which is easier said than done lol. Not to mention not hitting above 4k nor above 80 is NUTS because the car is BEGGGGGGGING for it. Above 80 is almost impossible... You are going 70 mph lets say and you just feather the throttle about 500 rpm and you are doing 85-90 already... Happen to slip it a few times on the highway.

Which honestly is fine, they have those guidelines so you are extra careful and not going around full throttle, redline pulls doing 165 right off the dealership. There will be time and place for that after 1500 anyhow lol. I will feel a lot more comfortable doing WOT once the 1500 is up and I get my oil change haha.

Congratulations Tr6!! Very classy act by Chevrolet for sure.

Also, thanks for the video showing some of the 2SS interior features (ambient lighting, rev match gear color, etc) as well as the tilting mirrors when in reverse.

Very appreciated.

How is the HVAC system? Curious if it's better than C5 and how well do those console vents move the air through the cockpit?

I was extremely disappointed with the air flow through the vents at first but then realized I fail... Fan speed was set to 1 dot, LOL. Once you get the fan speed set to half, it becomes pretty legit. It's been between 50 and 60 with lots of wind here in Wichita the past few days and I do drive around with windows down. With the steering wheel warmer, seats warmed up and heat to 85, I do not feel cold at all driving 75 on the highway. So I would say the HVAC is pretty good.

Also, ldejavul had made a video of the mylink system with some more stuff than my video. I think both our videos combined pretty much covers everything. I did realize there is a very faint light that shines directly to the shifter tonight, which is pretty damn cool. I tried recording it but I think I need a real camera to record that or you gotta see it with your own eyes lol.

Here is ldejavul's vid:

Thanx a lot man! I was just wondering if you were really following the whole break-in or maybe doing something different. But it all sounds like a good plan! & oh man... I believe you! I bet that car wants to go fast all the time!! haha

I agree with Tr6 I put 960 miles on her this weekend and its extremely hard not to go fasssstttttt. The car really is begging for it, and yea hitting 90 passing someone from 70 comes way to quick without even hitting 4k rpm. Its insane.

That new video of the white SS with the white seats cruising around town looks silly fast. 75-80 in third gear just takes a few seconds and it didn't even look/sound like the car cared at all. Looked more like the car was saying "Go for it.... You drive like a sissy!"

I see a lot of tickets being handed out in the next few months. Looks far too easy to hit 100 in the SS.

The side effects of this whole surreal experience for me while I am NOT complaining... It was the best damn day of my life, minus the weddings (I gotta say that don't I? Unless I wanna get stabbed while I sleep? LOL) was that I hadn't cleaned my garage as the vehicle was still 3800, it was something I was going to do when my vehicle hit 4200... I was in the middle of making a music playlist for my drive back from Dallas, and my plan was to pick up my car from the dealerships then take it to get tinted as well as getting my hardwire kit installed for my radar detectors. Which none did happen LOL.

But again, I am not complaining. It is just some stuff to get done! So I will be heading down to Dallas after the Holiday season is over to get my tinting done and all. I really do need to get my radar detector hardwired though. Car is way too damn fast and the problem is... you truly do NOT feel it. Like dejavu and I mentioned... You are just slightly trying to pass someone on the highway by FEATHERING the gas pedal... within 500 rpms you end up doing 90 from 70..... It's crazy lol.

Tr6 or lDejavul. Quick question. I see the radio controls on the steering wheel say volume and favorites. So does that mean that the only way to switch stations is to use the center radio controls. In my mind favorites just cycles through the pages of favorites you have added.

In my 2014 I can just hit up or down and it goes to the next station saved.

You can still change stations via the steering control. You do it via the arrow key pad on the right side of the steering wheel. You do need to have audio selected on your gauge cluster for it to work (not the hud, just the gauge cluster). Instead of going through a gagilion xm or fm stations you can just set Favorites and use the favorites control on the steering wheel though.

Tr6, sorry if this has been asked already but what is your impression of the stereo system? It was a big reason I changed my order from the 1SS to the 2SS.
