Does that work? Will it work in my '14 SS? With dry pavement I'm not sure I can break loose from a roll. Of course, I deal with 7000-9000 density altitude ever day, so my power is quite a bit less then those at sea level...

Down here in Texas my 2002 Z28 and my 2010 SS would light them up rolling in first. Fun times!

If the C6 Z06 vetted can do it with essentially the same torque and less meat on the road the 16 SS 6 speed manual should be able to do it. The Edmunds burnout test in 2010 had the SS lighting met up in second gear for 150 plus feet. This car should be more animalistic

He is just confirming the car can do a burnout. With no stability or traction control will not have a problem doing a burnout with 405 hp/tq to the wheels. Start rolling then lay into it with traction control off will probably light the tires up. If not throw in a little clutch and rpm.

My one thing is a having a v8 camaro again. My first car was an 1981 with a stroked 383 with 425hp and 4 speed muncie. Chevrolet orange with t-tops. Ugly car! It was hands down the fastest car in high school in the late 90's early 00's. Now getting 1ss a 6 speed with 455hp hyper blue! This time not ugly. (for me that is)
