Here ya go. You can delete your posts that aren't working (please). And, for the next time, you can just edit your post instead of taking up half a page with nothingness

Thank you for plopping the graphic up. Please excuse my feeble attempts. The point is 400 ft-lbs of stump pulling toque at 2 grand is what I'm talking about. If the C6 Z06 could light them up from a roll the 16 camaro should do the same thing with essentially the same torque and less meat on the road

Line lock might void warranty , I think it does in the Mustang if used. Cool to have if drag racing a lot.

That would make a lot more sense.

I posted earlier that I couldn't believe Ford gave that functionality. Would have to have serious confidence in the dependability of the drivetrain to include line lock and provide a long term warranty.

I've said this several times before, but it doesn't seem to stick.

It is currently illegal for auto manufacturers to cancel a customers warranty because of modifications they've made to their vehicle. (Magnuson-Moss warranty act)

The most that can be done is that the manufacture can deny your warranty claim. If you disagree, then you could sue for breach of contract, and they would need to prove that the issue in the warranty claim was due to a modification to the vehicle.

And note that its the manufacture that would deny the claim, not the dealer. The dealer loves warranty work, as they get paid for it.

Yes I already know about the Moss Act. You keep saying it over and over. Manufactures do not care and it will not change how they run things. For an example when the GTR first came out I think the warranty was voided if you went over Xmph or if you used launch control.
I would imagine warranties are handle differently case by case.
I'm not GM though so tell them...

You should add an important caveat to this:

Unless it can be proven that said modification caused the failure.

Yup, just go ask all the early adopters of really lean tunes for their brand new 2011 5.0 GT's that lead to a myriad of problems. Some dealers fixed them, some dealers didn't.

If you're dealer says no, it will probably enter that into the system, and even if you try another dealer, it will be on record. Your only choice is then to sue them, and who do you think has deeper pockets, you or GM?

It's a roll of the dice, and you shouldn't play if you can't afford to lose with the worst outcome. It could happen to you.
