That could be it...my order is almost identical as yours except for interior and exterior colors, and of course the wheels, I have the 56w split spoke wheels on my order, but those are from the factory.

I think you guys are making this out to be more than it is. It is likely done in batch order based upon a major option and date when the order was entered, not the small things like wheels.

For instance, I ordered in late July.

My options are:
2SS - major
Auto Trans - major
Nightfall Grey Metallic - big time major
Adrenaline Red Interior - small and meaningless
Magnetic Ride Control - small and meaningless
Navigation - small and meaningless
Performance exhaust - small and meaningless

As far as wheels go, I opted for the plain, default wheels. I am at 3300 status now. From a manufacturing standpoint, to maximize output off the bat, you batch build based upon a combination of major items. I believe powertrain and color are the driving forces here with some thought being lended to order date as well.

Off topic:
I notice a lot of the order numbers begin with "ST"

I wonder if there are order numbers out there with the first 4 characters of "STFU"

Or an order number that contains the letters "WTF"
